Travel to Anuradhapura and ride a bicycle through the oldest city in the world in the evening. See the revered Bo tree which is the oldest in the country and the amazing Jetavanarama Stupa, which is a historical temple.
Day 03
Admire the view of the lake when you first awaken in Anuradhapura. Explore the ancient ruins of Polonnaruwa a city that epitomizes the island’s regal past on a bicycle. Proceed to the city of Dambulla and pay a visit to the Gold Cave temples which have walls that date back 2000 years and are designated by UNESCO.
Day 04
Take a hike in the early morning to Sigiriya Rock one of Sri Lanka’s most well-liked tourist attractions. The staircase to the summit which formerly housed the monarch’s palace is guarded by the renownedly massive lion paws. After that head east to investigate the ruins of the former Polonnaruwa kingdom. After checking into your Kandy lodging take a city tour that includes a stop at the Temple of the Tooth Relic.
Day 05
Discover the “Udarata” tradition that abounds in Kandy. Visit a tea factory and pause along the way to admire the magnificent Ramboda Falls. Picking tea is a pastime of traditional tea pluckers dressed in colourful sarees. Factory sparkling tea is available at the manufacturing plant outlet. Later in the evening enjoy a city tour while the weather is still cold.
Day 07
Take in the gorgeous view of the misty clouds as you awaken in this city. Take a hike up the Hortain Plains a Worlds End eco-destination. One of the most beautiful hikes on the island is this one. If you’re fortunate you might catch a glimpse of deer grazing in the long grass in the morning. This morning hike will give you the impression that you are in a different country.
Day 08
You are going to take a beautiful train excursion from Nuwara Eliya to Ella on this particular day. The Ravana waterfalls are just one of the beautiful sights you will see and photograph during this ride. Proceed to Udawalawe later in the afternoon and feel free to spend the night there.
Day 09
Enjoy the excitement of a sunrise jeep safari in Udawalawe National Park. This area is home to elephants, crocodiles, sambar deer, leopards, wild boars, and a wide variety of migration and native birds. Following that, head to Sinharaja to spend a restful night.
Day 10
With the help of a naturalist tour the Sinharaja Rain Forest after breakfast. Select the waterfall trail which takes two hours or the three-hour trek. This hike will give you the chance to see wildlife in addition to endemic bird species.

Discover the colonial grandeur of the magnificent Dutch Fort of Galle considered Asia’s best-preserved colonial sea fort by taking a stroll along the cobblestone lanes this morning. Inside the Fort, you can also see the oldest breadfruit tree on the island.
Day 12, 13
Later, leave for a fun beach holiday in this coastal city. Relax, unwind, and tan while spending your leisure time in the Indian Ocean.
Day 14
Your trip through Sri Lanka’s natural wonders and cultural heritage will come to an end on your last day as you transfer to the airport to depart.
